Practice Survey Reporting

Patient Survey

In April our Patient Participation Group carried out a waiting room survey of our patients to get feedback on the service patients receive from the surgery. Full results can be seen below.

It is re-assuring that the majority of those surveyed (83%) were satisfied overall with the service the received from the surgery. All the staff work very hard to give our patients the best possible care.

From the result we can see that appointment availability is still proving to be an issue for some patients, although comments received during the survey suggest that things have improved since the new appointment system was introduced in October 2016. We have since conducted our own survey on how patients use the ‘on the day appointments’ with the view to be able to release more of these as routine pre-bookable appointments at the beginning of the week. We hope this will give patient more choice over when they attend the surgery and who they see.

Since the survey we have also changed the format of our website to make is easier for people to use from their phone, tablet or any other mobile device.

We would like to thank the members of the PPG who gave up their time to carry out the survey, the information this provides is an asset to the surgery and helps us improve patient care.
